The 2011 Balloon Regatta Vendor Fair was a success, considering the weather did not cooperate.

The weather was far from perfect, but the crowds were entertained and well fed.

The Regatta Vendor Fair has set a new record with 75 participating vendors. Our vendors were local, and from Pinetop, Williams, Flagstaff, Goodyear, Maricopa, Tuba City, Kaibeto, Jacob Lake, Dewey, Lake Havasu City, Phoenix, Prescott, Arizona, Henderson, Nevada, Grand Junction, Colorado, St. George, Washington, Big Water, and Panguitch, Utah. We want to thank all the vendors for helping to make this event such a success. Many of the vendors have already signed up for next year...

Our Balloonists need their own recognition. Without them, the event would not happen. Our many thanks go to all the Pilots and their Crews for their early mornings and late nights. Once again, the show was spectacular, if not unique. Thank you for entertaining the crowds with the Candle Stick burn and longer than normal.

The Page/Lake Powell Hot Air Balloon Regatta and Vendor Fair are supported by our wonderful volunteers. These hard working people can not get enough recognition for all the hours of planning, meeting, wheeling and dealing, and just plain old hard labor needed to get this event to the public. Our thanks and kudos go to each and every one of you.

A big "Thank You" to the City of Page, Police Department, Fire Department, and Public Works for working with us in all aspects to ensure a safe, family oriented event. By the way, the officers on the bicycles rock.

The Chamber would like to give a special thanks to the businesses on Lake Powell Blvd and Elm St. for sharing the parking lot with us on Saturday. The more than 10,000 people attending this event appreciate you being in the hub of the City of Page.

Our Regatta has become a Northern Arizona highlight. People from all over the world are coming to Page for the experience.
